Description
This Victorian-era ring, circa 1900, features a marquise-cut natural peridot of approximately 1.90 carats in an open-back claw setting. Sixteen cushion-shaped old mine diamonds surround the center stone in open-back cut-down settings, with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carat, forming an elongated cluster design with curving claws and a linear engraved gallery. Crafted in 18kt yellow gold with platinum-tested settings and a French import mark, it is finished with polished shoulders and a solid D-shape shank. Ring size is US 5.75 and it can be resized.
