This signed René Lalique Art Nouveau pendant necklace, created between 1898-1900, is a stunning blend of enamel, fire opal and 18kt gold. The design features a central fire opal cabochon surrounded by three stylized ivy leaves in pale bluish green plique-à-jour enamel with indigo berries tipped in blue champlevé enamel. Suspended from a later trace link chain, the piece draws inspiration from traditional Japanese crests and floral designs to create an exquisite harmony of blues and greens.
