This signed Art Nouveau "Marguerite" watch pendant was created by René Lalique around 1901-1902. The piece, made from 18kt gold and enamel, features a design of white opaque champlevé enamel marguerites (oxeye daisies) in various stages of blossoming on swirling gold vines against a transparent blue green enamel background. The reverse side showcases chased leafy vines with matching enamel ground that opens to reveal a white porcelain dial signed by E. Thomas.
