This signed vintage brooch, crafted by Rene Boivin in the 1950s, features a dahlia design with intricate detailing. At its center is a cabochon orange opal surrounded by old-cut diamonds, while the petals are adorned with cabochon white opals. The leaf of the brooch is accented with additional old-cut diamonds and mounted in 18kt yellow gold. Measuring 55 x 41 mm and weighing approximately 132.97 grams, this piece bears French assay marks and reflects the elegance of mid-20th century jewelry design.
