This John Rubel set features a brooch and earrings adorned with red rubies, turquoise cabochons, and diamonds. The pieces showcase the Franco-American Retro style of the 1940s with an asymmetrical gold flower design on the brooch and sky-blue turquoise earrings with ruby centers. The brooch, with a 2.75" diameter, carries 88 round-cut rubies totaling approximately 5.85 carats and 3 round-cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.95 carats. The earrings, with a 1" diameter, feature 10 round-cut rubies totaling approximately 1.60 carats and 5 round-cut diamonds of around 0.60 carats. Made in New York in 1945, this vintage set is crafted from 18kt yellow gold and comes with a signed box.
