Description
This 18kt gold squirrel brooch by Hermès, dating back to the 1960s, is a charming piece of vintage jewelry. The three-dimensional brooch depicts a squirrel on a branch holding a nut, with its body and large upright tail carefully textured to resemble fur. A single faceted ruby serves as the eye of the squirrel. This French-made item weighs 18.4 grams and measures 4cm tall by 4cm wide. It's in very fine condition for its age and features an authentic signature from Hermes Paris along with French assay marks.
