Description
This French Art Nouveau necklace, circa 1900, is crafted in 18kt yellow gold and measures approximately 18.50 inches in length. At the center is a round cabochon natural no-heat sapphire of approximately 0.50 carats, set in an open-back rubover setting and accented by four baroque natural pearl beads. The articulated openwork design features graduating heart shapes with foliate motifs, millegrain detailing, and polished edges for fluid movement along the neckline. It fastens with a secure sprung C-clasp and has an approximate weight of 19.70 grams.
