This Edwardian brooch features a grasshopper design adorned with 38 circular-cut demantoid garnets totaling approximately 1.10 carats and 34 old mine-cut diamonds weighing about 0.60 carat, set in platinum and 18kt gold. The grasshopper's eye is a single circular-cut ruby. With measurements of 1.375” length and 0.50” width, this vintage piece can be worn alone or grouped with other pieces for added color and flair.
