Description
This Victorian-era pin, circa 1890, features an oval cabochon natural no-heat star sapphire of approximately 18.00 carats displaying asterism. It is framed by 56 round rose cut diamonds in silver settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.80 carats, and accented with ten cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphires totaling approximately 0.50 carats. The design is finished with a curving fluted motif in tested 18kt yellow gold and silver, and measures approximately 3.50 inches in length with a total weight of 11.05 grams. Accompanied by a fitted box.
