Description
This Victorian-era necklace, circa 1890, features a drop-shaped mixed old cut natural unenhanced peridot of approximately 9.75 carats in an open-back claw setting. Above it sits a cluster of nine cushion-shaped old mine diamonds totaling approximately 0.23 carats, with three round rose cut diamonds adding a further approximate 0.03 carats (0.26 carats total). The ornate drop pendant is crafted in tested yellow gold and silver with curving claws and fancy open-back holing for movement and light. It is fitted with two bales and threaded on an approximately 16" yellow gold Ferragamo link chain marked 15kt, secured with a push clasp.
