Description
This Victorian coronet cluster ring, circa 1880, is crafted in 18kt yellow gold with an intricately pierced gallery and curving claw settings. At the center is a cushion-shaped old mine diamond weighing 1.37 carats (J color, I1 clarity), surrounded by ten cushion-shaped old mine diamonds with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carat, for a total approximate diamond weight of 2.37 carats. Ridged shoulders lead to a tapered shank in a US size 6 fit, and the ring can be resized. The piece weighs approximately 5 grams and includes a Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report.
