This pair of René Boivin “Etoile de Mer” brooches, crafted in 2005, showcases the renowned artistry of the Boivin workshop. Each piece is uniquely signed and features a combination of cabochon pink tourmalines and round brilliant-cut sapphires set in 18kt white and blackened gold. The first brooch highlights pink sapphires, totaling about 5.00 carats, with around 2.30 carats of pink tourmalines. The second brooch features about 2.30 carats of pink tourmalines contrasted by about 5.00 carats of blue sapphires. These vintage pieces are delicately scaled at just over an inch in diameter for versatile wearability.
