Description
This Mellerio necklace, French and circa 1915, features three strands set with four hundred natural saltwater pearls ranging from 2.20 to 6.10 mm in diameter. The clasp is accented with a circular cabochon emerald of approximately 0.50 carats in an open-back claw setting, along with eight eight-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.16 carats in open-back grain and rubover settings. Crafted in marked 18KT white gold and signed “Mellerio Paris,” it measures approximately 21 inches in length and secures with a push clasp. A Gemmological Certification Services report accompanies the piece.
