Description
This Belle Epoque diamond cluster ring by Maurice Silberstein is crafted in platinum and dated to circa 1915. It features three round old cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.40 carats, surrounded by twenty-four round eight cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.75 carats, for an approximate total diamond weight of 1.15 carats. The oval openwork cluster is finished with fine millegrain borders, a scalloped gallery, and intricately pierced backholing, set on a slim D-shape shank. Marked with the maker’s mark “MS” and French assay marks; ring size US 5 and resizable, weighing 3.50 grams.
