Description
This vintage J. E. Caldwell ring, made in America circa 1950, is crafted in platinum and signed “J.E.C. & Co.” It features twenty round old cut natural no-heat Burmese rubies totaling approximately 2.50 carats and twenty round brilliant cut diamonds totaling approximately 1.50 carats, arranged in a bombé-style cluster of six petalled flowers with open-back settings. The design includes curved shoulders, an ornate gallery, and a solid D-shape shank; it is engraved “M.A.D. 12-25-58.” Ring size is 6.25 (US), resizable, with a total weight of 11 grams.
