Description
This vintage Italian ring from circa 1970 is crafted in platinum and features a rectangular emerald-cut Colombian emerald of approximately 2.00 carats with moderate clarity enhancement, set in an open-back corner claw setting. Curving rows of sixteen channel-set baguette diamonds (approximately 0.70 carats total) frame the center stone at the top and bottom. A surrounding cluster of thirty-two round old cut diamonds adds approximately 2.00 carats, for a total approximate diamond weight of 2.70 carats, within a bombe openwork design with wirework gallery and pierced backholing. The ring weighs 11.70 grams, is size 5.75 US, and can be resized; it bears platinum marks and hallmarks for Alessandria.
