This vintage French dress ring from circa 1960 features an octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald weighing 3.12 carats, set in an open-back claw setting with minor oil treatment. It is flanked by forty tapered calibre-cut emeralds totaling approximately 1.60 carats and accented by twenty-four round brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approximately 2.40 carats, forming a cluster design with an openwork gallery and intricately pierced backholing. Crafted in platinum and 18kt yellow gold, it has tri-split shoulders that flow into a solid ridged shank and is marked with maker’s mark “J.W.” The ring weighs 17 grams, is size 4.75 (US), and can be resized; it is accompanied by an SSEF report.
