Description
These vintage Edwardian drop earrings, circa 1915, are crafted in platinum with millegrain edges, linear pierced galleries, and open backholing. Each earring is set with three round cabochon natural unenhanced sapphires (about 1.80 carats total) above three cushion-shaped old mine diamonds (around 0.90 carats total), accented by rose cut diamonds (approximately 0.25 carats total). The design terminates with a suspended natural unenhanced cabochon sapphire (about 10.00 carats total for the pair), creating gentle movement along the 4.00 cm drop. Fitted with a secure post and butterfly fastening, the pair weighs approximately 5.59 grams and has a combined diamond weight of approximately 1.15 carats.
