Description
This Edwardian-era cluster ring, circa 1905, features a cushion-shaped old cut natural no-heat Burmese sapphire of approximately 2.20 carats in an open-back rubover setting. Four round old cut diamonds (approximately 0.16 carats total) and a border of single cut diamonds with additional diamond-set shoulders bring the total approximate diamond weight to 0.61 carats. Crafted in 18kt yellow gold with platinum settings, it is finished with millegrain detail, an openwork cluster, a finely pierced gallery, and engraved Greek key accents along the shoulders. The ring is size 6.25 (US), resizable, and weighs approximately 4.00 grams.
