Description
This Edwardian-era negligée necklace, circa 1905, is crafted in 15kt yellow gold and platinum with a fine fancy link chain and secure push clasp. It features three natural cabochon opals totaling approximately 6.85 carats, including a central oval opal of about 3.90 carats, set in open-back rubover settings. Seventy-five old mine cushion-shaped diamonds (approximately 2.20 carats total) and four rose-cut diamonds (approximately 0.04 carats total) add detail throughout the design, finished with millegrain edging and an intricate gallery with fancy open backholing. The pendant measures approximately 6 cm long and the chain is approximately 15 inches; it comes with its original fitted box.
