Description
This early 20th century ring is crafted in platinum and centers on a natural no-heat oval old cut Burmese sapphire of approximately 0.80 carats, set in an open-back claw setting. The sapphire is encircled by eight cushion-shaped old mine diamonds with a combined approximate weight of 1.60 carats, forming an elongated coronet cluster with curving claws and an intricately pierced gallery. Inwardly tapering shoulders with chenier detail lead to a solid D-shape shank. Ring size is US 8.5 and it can be resized; the ring weighs 4.59 grams and includes a Gemmological Certification Services report.
