This French Art Nouveau plique-à-jour pendant necklace features a gold depiction of Shakespeare's Juliet, accompanied by peridots and freshwater pearls. The design showcases plique-à-jour enamel window panes behind Juliet and diamonds framing her head to represent the dawn light. Made with 18K gold, this vintage piece is paired with a period gold chain for an elegant finish. Materials used in this necklace include 21 rose-cut diamonds with an approximate total weight of 0.60 carat, three freshwater pearls measuring 3.70mm each, pear- and round-cut peridots, en plein and plique-à-jour enamel. This Art Nouveau piece has been exhibited at the Poster House exhibition "Alphonse Mucha: Art Nouveau/Nouvelle Femme" in New York from June 20, 2019 to October 6, 2019.
